" रात का इंतज़ार"

एक शाम मैं घर से निकलकर,
यूँ ही कुछ दूर चली..........
देखती हूँ रात चुपचाप है!

मैंने पूंछा क्या हुआ????

तुम तारों भरी स्वप्न सुंदरी.............
अपनी सुन्दरता के उत्कर्ष पर भी.....
बैठी हो मुरझाई सी,
जैसे कलि कोई कुम्हलाई सी!!

रात 'आह' भरकर बोली........

" मेरी सुन्दरता, ये तारों के गजरे,
जैसे फूल हैं बिन भंवरे,
मैं ख़ुद को ही बहलाती हूँ,
पलकों पर ख्वाब सजाती हूँ!!!


कोई जो मुझको निहारे,
बिखर जाते हैं मेरे गजरों के तारे !!!

"रात के जगमगाते जुगनू आसमान पर छाये हैं!
चाँद तारे धरती पर उतर आए हैं!!
खामोश रात खड़ी है अकेली....................
उसके मन में सैकड़ों चाहें हैं....................!!!!! "

"तितली की उड़ान"




" होती है तमन्ना तितली की यही,
उड़ने का उसको आधार मिले,
जो भी देखे सपना वो,
कुछ हद तक तो साकार मिले,

हसरत को दिल में रखकर,
वो अपने पंख फैलाती है,
हर फूल की मासूमियत को ,
महसूस वो करके आती है!!

बेचारी तितली नहीं जानती,
जीवन उसका छोटा है,
इस दुनिया में मासूमियत नही,
लोगों का मन् ही खोटा है!

जब किसी दिन वो अपने ,
रंग बिरंगे पर फैलाएगी,
किसी के हाथों से मसल दी जायेगी!!!

खूबसूरत अरमानों की कमी नही है दुनिया में,
अंधेरे के शमशानों की भी कमी नही है दुनिया में!

जीवन है छोटा तो क्या हुआ??
हसरतें हैं बाकी तो -
आकाश है विस्तृत, तितली की उड़ान का कोई अंत नही,
उड़ती वो उड़ती ही जायेगी,किसी के हाथों में नहीं आएगी.....................

!! Dushera in Bangalore !!!

Dushehra or Duseraa, whatever we call it.... same festivity has a difference in celebration styles when it comes to India. I recently saw and felt "dussera" and its celebrations in bangalore.Its quite different from what i have seen since childhood.
belonging from north India, i am used to eating Channa Dal , chawal with dahi vadaas on the occasion accompanied by paan in the night when many people go to each other's home and greet them. In Bangalore, however they offer prayers to God and offer bali of cock or goat to the goddess Kali for good blessing. That flesh is cooked at home and eaten as 'prashaad". they also offer langars where local people have rice, saambhar etc. This dushehra reminded me of the cultural diversity of the India....and brought me back to the memory lane once again........when i was a kid.burning crackers and eating sweets with my childhood friends.:)

छोटी फिल्में बड़ा बाज़ार

पिछले कई दशकों से हमारे सिने प्रेमी बड़े बजट की बड़े सितारों वाली फिल्मों को बड़े परदे पर देखकर अपनी जेबों में बड़ा सा छेद कर लेते थे, और संतुष्टि के नाम पर मिलता कुछ ख़ास नही था। बार बार का वही दोहराव और उबाउपन। वही चहेते सितारे और ठुमके लगती हुई हेरोइनेस जिनके हिस्से में अभिनय तो नाम मात्र का ही आता था। पर अब हमारे फ़िल्म जगत में नए निर्देशकों के आने से नई विचारधारा ने जनम लिया है, अब छोटे बजट में ही कई प्रयोगधर्मी फिल्में बन रही हैं और दर्शकों द्वारा पसंद भी की जा रही है। और ये बहुत अच्छे स्तर पर लोगों का मनोरंजन भी कर रही हैं! इन फिल्मों की खासियत है-

२ चुस्त संवाद
३ नए चेहरे
४ नए विषय
५.अलग त्रेत्मेंट
६ और ताज़ापन

ऐसी ही फिल्मों में है - दसविदानिया, संकट सिटी, देव डी ...............

ये तो सिर्फ़ कुछ नाम हैं, आज जब बड़े बजट की फिल्में बॉक्स ऑफिस पर औंधे मुह गिर रही हैं, ये छोटी फिल्में बड़े स्तर पर लोगों द्वारा सराही जा रही हैं! जो की निश्चय ही एक बड़ा बदलाव है!!!

!!! मेरी आंखों में सोये सारे ख्वाब जगा दो, मेरा खोया हुआ बचपन फ़िर से लौटा दो!!!!
!!! ज़िन्दगी है खामोश कश्ती की तरह, इसमें भरके रवानगी ज़रा जीने की वजह दो!!!

!!! " इतना तो कमाना ही चाहिए की अपनी जरूरतें पूरी कर सकें"!!!!

"मेरे द्वारा लिखित यह साक्षात्कार १२थ सप्तम्बर २००६ को "दैनिक जागरण के " जागरण सिटी परिशिशिष्ट में प्रकाशित हुआ था! यह मेरी पहली प्रकाशित रचना है!"

शिक्षा- ऍम कोम., हिंदू कॉलेज, दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय
शैक्षणिक पृष्ठभूमि- प्रोफेशनल बी.कॉम। करने के बाद एक सब ब्रोकर से थेओरेतिकल अनाल्य्सिस में विशेषज्ञता की ट्रेनिंग ली। दो महीने का प्रशिक्षण लेकर पहली नौकरी " कर्वी स्टॉक में की! कम के दूसरे साल में ही शादी हो गयी! उस समय काम के बारे में यह तय नही था की करना है या नही पर ससुराल वालों के सहयोग व प्रोत्साहन से एक बार फ़िर काम करने का मौका मिला! पिछले छः महीने से " religare" में काम कर रही हैं, यह पूंछे जाने पर की ससुराल वालों से किस तरह का सहयोग मिलता है? वो बताती हैं - मेरी सास, देवर, ननद, पति सभी कामकाजी हैं या अपना व्यवसाय करे हैं इसलिए उन्होंने मुझे भी व्यस्त रहने की सलाह दी!

वह अपने मायके वालों का भी सहयोग मानती हैं जिन्होंने उन्हें उच्च शिक्षा दिलाकर इस काबिल बनाया की बह अपने पैरों पर खड़ी हो सकें! निजी और व्यावसायिक जीवा में संतुलन कैसे बनाती हैं? पूंछने पर वे कहती हैं - " फिलहाल तो यही सोचा है की जब तक काम करुँगी ऑफिस और घर के बीच संतुलन बनाने की हर सम्भव करुँगी
क्यूंकि नौकरी के साथ - साथ परिवार मेरी पहली प्राथमिकता है! को दिक्कत नही आती? वह तपाक से जवाब देती हैं - परेशानी की बात ही नही होती यदि परिवार में हर सदस्य को अपनी जिम्मेदारियों का एहसास हो!

महत्त्वपूर्ण विषयों पर फैसला लेने की बात आने पर वह कहती हैं - "आप एक परिवार में रहते हैं तो आप के द्वारा लिया गया हर निर्णय सीधे तौर पर पूरे परिवार को प्रभावित करता है! इसलिए कोई भी फ़ैसला लेने से पहले सबकी राय जान लेना बहुत आवश्यक है! " मनु के अनुसार वह अपने कम से पूरी तरह संतुष्ट हैं! भविष्य में उन्हें आने कैरियर को आगे ले जाने का अवसर मिले तो वे जरुर इसका लाभ उठाएंगी!

महिलाओं के लिए काम करना कितना जरूरी है? इस सवाल के जवाब में वो कहती हैं - मंहगाई के इस दौर में हर व्यक्ति को इतना तो कमाना ही चाहिए ताकि वो अपनी और वक्त आने अपर दोसरों की ज़िम्मेदारी ले सके! आर्थिक स्वतन्त्रता महिला को बुरे समय में भी संबल प्रदान करती है और समाज में सर उठा कर जीने लायक बनाती है!महिलाओं को इच्छित क्षेत्र में आगे आना चाहिए और वक्त के साथ ख़ुद को बदलते रहना चाहिए! उन्हें समाज कम एक जागरूक नागरिक बनना चाहिए!

नायक या खलनायक?????

हमारे समाज में फिल्में और उनसे जुड़े हुए लोगों को असलियत की ज़िन्दगी में भी किसी " हीरो " से कम नही समझा जाता, ये लोग जो भी करते हैं, आम आदमी इनका अनुसरण करता है। बिना सोचे समझे की जो वो सिनेमा हॉल में देखते हैं, वो एक तीन घंटे की फ़िल्म से ज्यादा और कुछ नही है, आम आदमी की इसी प्रशंशा के पात्र बनकर ये " प्रसिद्ध" लोग सफलता के नशे में इतने चूर हो जाते हैं की अपनी सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी को भी भूल जाते हैं। हमारे आस पास देखें तो ऐसे कई उदाहरन स्वत: ही मिल जायेंगे जिनमें आम आदमी के मौलिक अधिकारों का इन लोगों द्वारा हनन किया जाता है।

उदहारण अनेक हैं, चाहे वो ९७ का चिंकारा मर्डर केस हो या ९१ का मुंबई बोम्ब ब्लास्ट, चाहे वो एक नाबालिग़ लड़की का बलात्कार हो या किसी गरीब को कार के नीचे कुचल डालना। सब एक ही बात की तरफ़ इशारा करते हैं की हमारी कानून व्यवस्था इतनी लचर और घूसखोर है की इन लोगों के मन में उसका जरा भी डर नही है।

फिल्में और साहित्य सदा से ही हमारे समाज का एक प्रभावशाली अंग रहे हैं! और आम लोगोग्न के मन को और विचारधारा को प्रभावित करते रहे हैं, तो इन आम से खास बने लोगों को भी कुछ भी अनुचित करने से पहले अपने गिरेबान में झांकर देख लेना चाहिए ! कथनी और करनी का यही बड़ा अन्तर इन्हें प्रसिद्धि के उस सिंघासन से एक पल में उतार सकता है जिस पर बैठकर ये अपनी जिम्मेदारियां भूल जाते हैं!

"मेरा सपना"

है ये मेरा सपना, आसमान को छूने का,
है ये मेरा सपना ज़मीन से ऊपर उठने का,
है ये मेरी चाहत करूँ मैं बात परिंदों से,
छू कर देखू उनके पंखों को!

है ये मेरा सपना की मेरी भी एक पहचान हो,
है ये मेरा सपना की इस दिल में कई अरमान हो,
है ये मेरा सपना की कुछ अधूरा न रहे,
है ये मेरा सपना की मेरी आंखों में,
हमेशा ख्वाब रहे!


सपना है ये की सपना ये सपना ही न रह जाए,
इसको पूरा करने की मुझमें हमेशा प्यास रहे,
जब तक है ये प्यास, ना टूटेगी ये आस,
सपने हैं , ताकत है और हिम्मत है अगर,

MID DAY MEALS: A CRUCIAL PLAN TO ATTRACT KIDS FOR EDUCATION

As the NDA govt, has put up a plan long time back, to provide kids with one meal in case they attend the basic primary classes. When this plan was made , it was thought that the thought of food would attract the small kids towards school. which later happened too. But one or the other day, we see news from different parts of india.... like teachers are busy in cooking the melas as they have to feed the kids. and in some places schools are being run in a room where food is also being prepared. and apart from that, regular reports of kids getting hospitalized due to food poisoning and malfunctioning of the whole system are also not new.govt, should opt for packaged food. as
1.it removes maximum risk f getting contaminated.
2. Saves teacher's precious time which they can devote to educating the children,

Moreover, plans like these should aim at realistic aspects. first of all govt. needs to employ rural people so that they can themselves send their kids to schools for education not for a mere meal. Without removing the root cause , this problem will always persist.

This serial has been st up in the land or rural rajasthaan , quite easily and naturally depicting the sad plight of women who are forced to burry thier new born girl child as the villagers believe that a grl childhas no right to take birth, they want their wives to give them male child only as thery believe it brings pride to the family ac. to their so calles notions and age old beliefs. the main character of this story is a girl who decides to fight against this so called discrimination on the basis of gender. The serial has been made by shakuntalam telefilms and has ben broadcasted by colours channel at prime time slot.


Another serial by colours channel is "BAALIKA VADHU" that interetingly tells the story of anandi a monor girl who is maried and is forced to leave her studies. the serial shows how a child is deprived of her childhood by marryign in a tender age. the serial shows the problems faced by women in india specialy rural india. and it shows the mind set of people who think that a girl child has no right to education and she should learn only how to cook and look after her family.

In a country like india where serials are the best way to teach people about the ills and evils of society, these tv serials are noteworthy as these are entertaining and educating people about

A SHOW OFF OF MONEY BY PUBLIC FIGURES

Recently, the 45 crore rupee "mukut" offered to lord Venkateshwara by one of the ministers became headlines in news. Our public figures make an image and deep and long lasting impact on masses. whatever they do or say leaves an impression on the minds of people. In a country like India, this vulgar showoff of money is like an irony for those who can't even eat three meals in a day. our so called opinion makers do not seem to adhere by what they say exactly. the people in power should act and and do whatever is ethical and in public welfare. On one had they become power players by snatching votes from common man and on the other hand, they fully extract all the benefits and fill their pockets. which is in contrast to what they are elected for. so celebrities . politicians and persons of importance should come up with an example for the masses. not the ones sucking their hard earned wealth ans showing it off .

ITS ELECTION TIME AGAIN... !!!

After 5 years of ruling of UPA government in India, here comes the chance for a change again, for us to choose our next Prime Minister :). Every time we think we r choosing someone who will initiate the much awaited revolution in economy of India. but sadly the multi party governments are busy in maintaining their power :( not eradicating the ills and evils in a democaratic country like india. for most we are destined to choose people who even don't deserve to be elected and some are even not eligible enough on many accounts to even stand in the elections:(.. .But its shocking to know that a very big part of candidates in indian elections come from criminal backgrounds and many of them even don't know the basics of democracy. So the person who doesnt know what india is all about , how can he or she rule a big and populate country like ours struggling to cope up with very basic problems of life. The very basic necessities of life are not here in india . A large population lives under the risk of contagious diseases. Even if we will look at our nearby places or our locality, we will find that in this age of cyber revolution and nuclear technology, INDIA is the country where one third of the population is not getting clean and safe driniking WATER, clean and spacious HOMES , and the three times MEALS in a day...:(.. So when you go to "polling booths"next time to drop your vote, please leave behind your misconceptions , just think logically and practically and give it to someone who can at least realize and understand the importance of the power in a democracy. VOTE IS A KEY TO THE BETTER INDIA, USE IT WITH THOUGHTFULNESS................ TO MAKE A BETTER BHARAT, A BETTER NATION:)...
